About Dot
My journey into nutrition was deeply influenced by my own health struggles and the supportive practitioners who guided me through many challenging stages of my life.
As a teenager, I decided to become a vegetarian, but during my high school years I struggled with iron deficiency anaemia, which left me feeling constantly drained and falling asleep at my desk.
In my early twenties, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that introduced a host of new health challenges. This diagnosis forced me to reevaluate my lifestyle and make significant changes to improve my health moving forward.
After seeing numerous doctors and specialists, I felt unheard and out of control. It wasn’t until I began working with natural health practitioners that I experienced a major turning point—both mentally and physically. Through their guidance, I regained autonomy over my health by making mindful adjustments to my diet and lifestyle, among other things.
Inspired by the profound impact natural health practitioners had on my life, I became a qualified Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc) with a strong dedication for helping others feel their best through improving gut health, weight management, optimising energy, and supporting hormone-related conditions.
I take a holistic approach to health, helping individuals uncover the root causes of their concerns. By utilising functional testing and creating personalised nutrition plans, I work to achieve lasting, sustainable results for my clients.
