By engaging the services of Dorothea Tsiavis, Good Guts Nutrition, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms align with consumer protection laws and are designed to ensure smooth and transparent interactions between Dorothea Tsiavis, Good Guts Nutrition, and their clients.
1. Appointments
Booking: Appointments can be scheduled on our online booking system or via email.
Punctuality: Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, the session may be shortened to accommodate other clients, but the full fee will apply.
No-Show Policy: Failure to attend your appointment will incur a no-show fee equal to 100% of the consultation fee.
Cancellation policy:
Cancellations can be completed via the link in your confirmation email up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
To cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, the cancel option will not appear through this link, and you will need to contact Good Guts Nutrition via email hello@goodgutsnutrition.com. In this case, you will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee.
Reschedule policy:
Rescheduling can be completed via the link in your confirmation email up to 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
To reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice, the reschedule option will not appear through this link, and you will need to contact Good Guts Nutrition via email hello@goodgutsnutrition.com. In this case, you will incur a late reschedule fee equal to 50% of the consultation fee.
2. Fees and Payments
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the conclusion of in-person consultations. For telehealth appointments, full prepayment is required at the time of booking.
GST: All prices are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), as applicable.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept credit/debit card payments only.
3. Nutraceutical Supplements and Prescriptions
Nutraceutical supplements are prescribed and ordered by the client through a third-party dispensary (e.g., Vital.ly, Ariya Health). Postage is determined by the third-party provider.
If there are any issues with the delivery of your prescription, please contact the third party who took the order as well as Good Guts Nutrition via email for assistance.
In the event of an adverse reaction to prescribed products, immediately cease use and contact Good Guts Nutrition via email so we can assess the situation and provide the necessary support.
4. Refunds and Credits
Refunds or exchanges are available for faulty, damaged, or incorrect products in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind or if a product does not provide the desired outcome, as individual responses to nutraceutical supplements may vary.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and health information.
6. Client Responsibilities
Accuracy of Information: Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date health information to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Compliance with Advice: Good Guts Nutrition is not liable for any adverse outcomes as a result of treatment.
Respectful Behaviour: Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and other clients.
7. Disclaimer
Nutritional services provided by Good Guts Nutrition are designed to complement, not replace, conventional medical care. These services focus on supporting the body’s natural healing processes and promoting overall wellness. Clients are advised to maintain communication with their primary healthcare provider for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of any medical conditions.
Good Guts Nutrition is not liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes resulting from the use of recommendations, treatments, or products provided during consultations. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any known allergies, sensitivities, or health conditions and to carefully read product labels and ingredient lists. Clients assume full responsibility for their health decisions and are encouraged to seek immediate medical attention where appropriate if any concerning symptoms arise.
8. Private Health Insurance Claims
Dorothea Tsiavis of Good Guts Nutrition is registered with the following private health providers: Australian Unity, NIB, ARHG, Medibank, and AHM. Clients with coverage through these providers may be eligible to claim a refund for services received provided they are covered by their extras policy.
To claim, clients must submit their claim directly through their respective health provider’s online portal. Please ensure that you check with your provider for eligibility and the specific terms of your cover.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
Good Guts Nutrition reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and communicated where necessary. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
